Commercial offers frequently describe Millberry as bright bare copper wire with very high copper content. That description is directionally useful but insufficient for contract. Buyers need to define the physical form, acceptable surface condition, minimum wire diameter where relevant, prohibited materials, packaging, inspection method and settlement basis.

A seller's “99.9%+” statement should not be treated as a universal grade definition. Loose coils, compressed bundles and jumbo bags create different inspection and handling risks. Bundle density and dimensions should permit representative inspection. Container records should connect the inspected material to container and seal numbers, verified weights and loading photographs or video.

A copper reference can anchor the commercial formula, but the final price also reflects quotation period, preparation, freight, insurance, finance, inspection, quantity, seller performance, claims risk and destination requirements.
