Identity warning signs

Free email addresses, no verifiable website, recently created domains, refusal to provide registration details or inconsistent names.

Material warning signs

Generic videos, reused photographs, no dated live verification, impossible volumes, refusal of inspection or unclear stock location.

Payment warning signs

Third-party accounts, beneficiary mismatch, urgency, advance-payment pressure or bank details changed only by email.

Minimum verification steps

Confirm

Corporate registration, address, domain and authorised contact.

Challenge

Request live, specific evidence that cannot be satisfied with generic media.

Inspect

Use a credible independent inspector or site visit where appropriate.

Verify payment

Confirm beneficiary details independently before transferring value.
